Playu Pink Run 2024

Successfully hosted the Playu Pink Run, Playu's inaugural 10k run, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event raised Rs 50,000 for the Adyar Cancer Institute and saw an impressive turnout of over 1,200 runners, graced by esteemed chief guests.

As part of spreading awareness on Breast Cancer which is the leading cause of Cancer death among women in India, Playu.in facilitated two radio interviews with Dr. Arvind Krishnamurthy, Head of Surgical Oncology, Cancer Institute (WIA) Adyar and Dr. Manjula Pandian, leading gynaecologist with 35+ years of experience and Director, Deepam Hospital Group.

VR Chennai International Chess Day Fest

Highlights

– Chess enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels actively participated in thrilling matches, right in front of an electrified crowd at the atrium of VR Chennai.

– A chat session with Grandmaster, Sundararajan Kidambi (India’s 19th Grandmaster) on his journey to becoming a Grand Master, tips and advice for aspiring chess players, managing stress during games, handling success and failure and much more.

– Simultaneous exhibition with Grandmaster arranged for 10 players who were 1st and 2nd place winners of previous playu.in tournaments

– Young chess achievers shared their chess stories

– The event witnessed 250+ participants
