Rules and Regulations

The Tournament is open to all Karnataka Players.

The latest FIDE rules in force shall apply and the Swiss system will be followed.

Time Control: 15 minutes + 5 seconds incremental.

The first round will commence at 9 AM on 4th May 2025. The number of rounds and the round-wise schedule will be announced at the tournament venue.

International Chess Set and Clock will be provided for the games.

Tiebreak: Latest AICF tiebreaks will be applied. In case of tie, prizes will not be shared.

The Chief Arbiter/Organizer decision shall be final and binding on all players concerned.

Age proof Certificate must be produced for children’s category prizes.

Entries close at 9 P.M on 2nd May 2025. No entry will be entertained after 9 P.M on 2nd May 2025. Strictly no spot entries.

KSCA player registration is compulsory for all participants. KSCA player registration fee is Rs. 150.
